Christmas at Camp

I can't believe we had our first "Christmas at Camp" celebration! Last Saturday (December 1st) a bunch of families got together at camp for some fun and activities to celebrate the kick off of camp registration.Six families came to the event where we had holiday crafts, sledding, hot cocoa and of course, the ugly sweater contest.

Here are some pictures from the day of fun!
Lots of hot cocoa!

Even the fish got into the Christmas spirit!

Kat did a great job putting these together. Thank you Kat!

We gave away a lot of camp swag, an annex gift certificate and even moosebucks! It was a great experience that I hope becomes a tradition here at Camp Sacandaga.

A very special "Thank you" goes out to Stephanie Turnbull (who put this all together) and all of the volunteers that made this event possible!

We hope everyone has a great holiday season. and of course we are looking forward to campers signing up for another summer!

Hope to see you all soon!

  1. Such a great time at Christmas at Camp. I even helped with a snowball fight and rolling in the snow! Thank you Jim and the great kids that enjoyed the crafts. And yes, we will have some of these crafts for Christmas in July this summer!
